Public Paranormal Investigation

Date: February 15th

This will be our 3rd Annual Polar Bear Paranormal Event (and no we are not trying to make contact with Polar Bears). This is Ohio so we have no clue what the weather will be like but we will have hand and feet warmers available for everyone in attendance and we are planning on having fires in the cabins we will be going into earlier in the day so they will be warmed up in time for the investigation (don't worry, we will quit feeding the fires so they will not be making any noise/smells but will still be providing enough warmth to take the chill off). We will have a fire going in the Bullskin so everyone can keep warm while we eat and when we take breaks.

This event will go on no matter the weather (the only exception would be extreme inclement weather). If it snows, we will be hiking around the Village in snow (and checking for any ghost prints in the snow).

There will be a home made dinner for everyone and we will begin investigating after everyone is done eating dinner.

During the dinner, everyone will have the opportunity to talk with our investigators, get to know each other, and we will play some of the evidence which we have gathered over the past year of us investigating at the Village. We will also play some of the evidence which has been recorded by our Investigators from other investigations outside of the Village so everyone will have an idea of what could be found. There will also be members of the Village available to tell you the history of the Village itself and all of the buildings in the Village.

The investigation will include:
* Home cooked dinner prepared by some of the Volunteers at the Village
* Use of our equipment. For this investigation we will have cameras set up in one of the buildings, K2s, Mel Meters, Flashlights, Rem Pods, SB7 Spirit Box, Laser Grids, Recording Devices
* We will also be taking breaks throughout the night for snacks and water/coffee
* All evidence will be shared through a website which will be set up specifically for this event

Menu for the Meal

<to be announced>

Coffee, Tea, Water, Hot Chocolate will be served with dinner and available all night long.

The whole meal will be made from scratch and made by our expert period chef. If special dietary concerns need to be addressed, send us a message through Facebook or email and we can discuss alternatives.

This event will be open to anyone ages 13 and up. Each person attending the event under the age of 18 must have an accompanying adult guardian with them (1:1 ratio). We expect everyone to behave in a professional and respectful manner no matter their age of course. We will also be walking around the village at night by nothing more than flashlight so keep in mind the hazards that can be encountered and be sure to dress appropriately.

We will begin the night in the Bullskin Inn. So please park in the Event Parking lot next to the Village and make your way to the other side of the Village to the Bullskin Inn when you arrive. Our staff will be on hand to greet you when you show up. They have been a part of many investigations at the Village and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

You are not required to stay the whole evening and may leave at any point (2 am can be a bit rough for some people). A friendly reminder though, if you leave the Village Property, you will not be allowed back on the property during the event.

On the night of the event all participants will need to sign a liability waiver form. No one will be allowed to investigate without filling out and signing the form. Any questions please send an email to admin@caesarscreekpioneervillage.com
