Public Paranormal Investigation- Halloween

Date: October 24th <This event is Sold Out>

Our Paranormal Investigation for the Public - Halloween Edition makes its annual return for the 5th year in a row. This has always proven to be an amazing time and no better way to celebrate the Halloween Season than by doing a Paranormal Investigation with the Pioneer Village. Our spirits have always been very open with their communication although every once in a while they do get a little shy with the flashlights but they warm up once they get used to the group. This has become an annual tradition at the Pioneer Village and we look forward to seeing some familiar faces and talking with some familiar spirits.

This event is not weather dependent so no matter what the weather (with the exception of extremely dangerous weather), we will still investigate. We have investigated during thunder storms before and it has been a pretty amazing night. We will have a fire going in the Bullskin Inn as usual to keep any October chill off.

There will be a home made dinner for everyone and we will begin investigating after everyone is done eating dinner.

During the dinner, everyone will have the opportunity to talk with our investigators, get to know each other, and we will play some of the evidence which we have gathered over the past year of us investigating at the Village. We will also play some of the evidence which has been recorded by our Investigators from other investigations outside of the Village so everyone will have an idea of what could be found. There will also be members of the Village available to tell you the history of the Village itself and all of the buildings in the Village and to answer any questions you may have about the Pioneer Village.

The investigation will include:
* Home cooked dinner prepared by some of the Volunteers at the Village
* Use of our equipment. For this investigation we will have cameras set up in one of the buildings, K2s, Mel Meters, Flashlights, Rem Pods, SB7 Spirit Box, Laser Grids, Recording Devices
* We will also be taking breaks throughout the night for snacks and water
* All evidence will be shared through a website which will be set up specifically for this event

Menu for the Meal

<still being finalized>

Coffee, Tea, Water will be served with dinner and available all night long.

The whole meal will be made from scratch and made by our expert period chef. If special dietary concerns need to be addressed, send us a message through Facebook or email and we can discuss alternatives.

This event will be open to anyone ages 13 and up. Each person attending the event under the age of 18 must have an accompanying adult guardian with them (1:1 ratio). We expect everyone to behave in a professional and respectful manner no matter their age of course. We will also be walking around the village at night by nothing more than flashlight so keep in mind the hazards that can be encountered and be sure to dress appropriately.

We will begin the night in the Bullskin Inn. So please park in the Event Parking lot next to the Village and make your way to the other side of the Village to the Bullskin Inn when you arrive. Our staff will be on hand to greet you when you show up. They have been a part of many investigations at the Village and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

You are not required to stay the whole evening and may leave at any point (2 am can be a bit rough for some people). A friendly reminder though, if you leave the Village Property, you will not be allowed back on the property during the event.

On the night of the event all participants will need to sign a liability waiver form. No one will be allowed to investigate without filling out and signing the form. Any questions please send an email to admin@ccpv.us
